Are you ready for what's coming up in District 6250 Membership and this year's Vibrant Club Workshop? Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect:
First, we have a fun plan in the works to help build enthusiasm and excitement around membership. It is called Membership Olympics. It is simple, easy to execute and has had great success in other districts. To launch it for this year, we will be doing a slightly reduced version to the one that District 5810 in Dallas Texas has been running. Ours will revolve around the five Olympic rings and the five months leading up to TriCon in Green Bay from April 18 - 20, 2024. Each month there will be a new event to help keep your club get engaged and stay focused on tasks to help build your membership program.
Second, our Vibrant Club Workshop, sometimes referred to as One Summit, will be on November 4, 2023 at the Cranberry Country Lodge in Tomah WI, right in the center of Cranberry Country. The gathering is from 8:15am to 9:00am, with the actual workshop running from 9am to 11:30am. We are thrilled to announce that our team will soon be joined by a Rotaract Representative. Also we will have a guest from the International Service Committee, who will share some highlights. Register HERE
Following VCW at 1pm will be a short tour of one of areas best cranberry companies, Wetherby's. A family owned business. The VanWychen family, have more than 100 years of experience, so they know their cranberries! Nodji Van Wycherley, who I worked with to schedule our tour, was awarded the Master Agriculturist Award in 2014 for the state of Wisconsin. Finally, we will conclude our visit with a trip to the Cranberry Museum at 2:30 pm. Gear up for Thanksgiving and stock up on cranberry supplies! Register HERE
Last but certainly not least, we have a new Membership Chair to be announced. The introduction will take place during the upcoming Vibant Club Workshop and will also be included in the November Dispatch. We look forward to welcoming you at VCW in Tomah!
