Rotarians across our region are gearing up for something big - the World’s Largest Polio Walk on October 24 and we invite every club to be part of it. Imagine thousands of Rotarians, families, friends, and community partners walking together across 23 districts to raise awareness and funds to help end polio for good.
💪 HELP US END POLIO
District 6250 will join Rotary districts across Region 36 – Rotary Zones 25B & 29. The effort will unite more than 36,620 Rotarians and 964 Rotaractors across 11 states and 2 countries in a powerful demonstration of Rotary’s commitment to a polio-free world.
District 6250 is encouraging Rotary and Rotaract clubs throughout the district to organize local walks in their communities and invite members, families, schools, businesses, and community leaders to participate.
Rotary has been leading the global fight against polio for more than 35 years through its End Polio Now campaign. Thanks to Rotary and its global partners, polio cases have been reduced by more than 99.9%, but the fight continues until every child is protected.
Participants are encouraged to wear Rotary or End Polio Now gear, bring friends and family, and share their experience on social media to help amplify the message.
💰 COLLECTING PLEDGES
Our collective goal: Raise $1 Million for Polio Eradication. Participants are asked to submit paid pledges to their Rotary Club. Clubs will submit the funds to The Rotary Foundation. The Foundation’s Multiple Donor form can be used to identify individual donors for Paul Harris Fellow recognition points.

❤️ THIS IS MORE THAN A WALK ❤️
“This is more than a walk—it is a united movement to raise awareness and demonstrate the power of Rotary in action. Together, we are helping support the collective goal of raising $1 million toward polio eradication while reminding the world that we are ‘This Close’ to ending polio forever.”
