Accomplishing stuff is worth celebrating! That’s why having a Club Annual report is so worthwhile. Since the new Rotary year has just begun, now is the time to begin preparing for that report so it’s easy to assemble and prepare it for release at the end of the next Rotary year.
The goal is to capture the activities and accomplishments that make your Club special. It will serve to both remind fellow members of all they have done to support the local community and RI, as well as to demonstrate to prospective members exactly what Rotarians do. And the word do is key!
Here's an example of an annual report presented by Madison South’s outgoing President, Mike True. It focuses on the key metrics the Club tracks, including membership trends, funds raised, scholarships given, service projects completed, etc. To get started, get advice here from RI or join Melissa and Michelle's upcoming KISS Zoom on Creating Annual Reports that will be scheduled for later this month. Whatever approach to take, it will be much easier to produce such a report if you begin tallying your activities right now. Produce it in any creative way that works for you and your Club. The important thing is to plan for an annual club report and ultimately, produce one that will both build pride in your club and inspire future successes.
