Lake Mills, WI — September 12, 2026 — Lace up your running shoes and bring your community spirit—the Rotary Club of Lake Mills is back with the sixth annual Pyramid City Run, and this year promises more energy, more impact, and more fun than ever.

This beloved local event isn't just about the miles—it’s about making a difference. Every smile (and every laugh along the route) helps raise money for a standout community resource: the L.D. Fargo Library. And let’s be honest: where else can you enjoy a scenic run, connect with neighbors, and support a place that fuels imagination, learning, and lifelong curiosity?

By keeping event costs low, the Rotary Club ensures that more dollars go exactly where they belong—right back into Jefferson County.

The L.D. Fargo Library is more than books—it’s a buzzing community hub packed with programs, spaces to gather, and resources for all ages. It’s also part of something bigger. Research published this year in Neurology shows that lifelong learning activities like reading and picking up new skills can boost brain health and may help delay Alzheimer’s. In other words, this year’s run supports not just a building—but brighter, healthier futures.

Behind it all is the Rotary Club of Lake Mills, part of Rotary International, a worldwide network of 1.2 million people dedicated to doing good. Locally, the club has been serving Lake Mills since 1954, turning compassion into action and strengthening the community year after year.

So whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just in it for the good vibes—this is your invitation. Come out, get moving, and be part of something meaningful.
