We have a great opportunity for both Rotary Fellowship and a District Fund Raiser on Tuesday, August 6th at The Duck Pond at Warner Park! This is the home field for the Madison Night Mares and the Madison Mallards. The night's game will feature the Madison Night Mares, a NEW semi-pro girls fast pitch softball team. The Night Mares have waived the regular cost for us to host a fund raiser with them (saves us $600!) whereby for each $16 ticket sold to the game through the attachment, our District will receive $8 back. In addition, we have the opportunity to raise even more by selling 50/50 raffle tickets during the game. The stadium will provide us with the tickets to sell as well as vest to identify us as 50/50 ticket sellers. District 6250 will reap the benefit of 50% of those ticket sales as well.

The Night Mares will have the game tickets seated together, so that we can enjoy camaraderie during the pre-game and game as well. Parking information for the stadium is convenient and the map is included on the attachment by clicking the hot button "Parking Information". We will need a few Rotarians interested in selling tickets and I'd appreciate anyone interested contact me asap at: aug8813@aol.com or 608.480.3941 Finally, there will be a table set up near the entrance where we can set up information to pass out regarding Rotary, our District etc. That is where I will really need help as I do not have any print information to display and pass out. I do however have a large inflatable Rotary logo that I will bring with an extension cord and hopefully we will be able to plug it in and inflate it for all to see.  It is somewhere in the neighborhood of 8' tall!

Again, I hope that you and you family will be able to join us for this fun filled All District event! This could even work to your advantage as an inexpensive way to introduce others to Rotary!  You don't have to be a member to join us...feel free to think outside the box on this one, and if you have any sort of print material, please let me know asap!

Yours in the Rotary Spirit,
