Midwest PETS is coming soon!  Registration closes on February 18th. Solidify your club representative ASAP!

Your club has already paid to send a representative from your club. If your club has not yet registered an attendee, offer an opportunity to an emerging leader (someone interested in deepening their understanding of Rotary) or a club secretary. Sessions have been created specifically for these roles and will be offered at PETS on March 6–8 in Itasca, Illinois.

There are also one-day sessions offered on Saturday. Learn more at: Rotarymwp.org or contact your District Governor for 2026-27, Scott Ryan at scottryanrotarian@gmail.com and read on for more details about this amazing opportunity!

Midwest PETS (Presidents-Elect Training Seminar) is a dynamic, high-energy leadership experience designed to equip Rotarians with the tools, confidence, and connections needed for a successful year of service. Attendees gain practical insights into club leadership, strategic planning, membership engagement, and effective communication—all while connecting with Rotarians from across the Midwest.

Unless you attend an International Convention you will not be exposed to this fantastic list of Rotary International speakers that you will experience at PETS.

Yinka Babalola – Rotary International President-Elect for 2026-27

John Hewko – General Secretary/CEO Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation

Tom Gump – Rotary International Director-Elect

Michael K McGovern – Rotary International Polio Plus Committee Chair

Clare Richards – Rotaractor

Dr. Richard Kyte – Author

Important note for emerging leaders:
District 6250 has a very limited number of paid registrations available for emerging leaders, making this a unique and time-sensitive opportunity.

So, who is an emerging leader? You might be one if you:

·         Show initiative and a willingness to step up but feel intimidated by what you “don’t know”

·         Actively participate in club projects or committees and witness the power of Rotary

·         Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills or want to improve on both

·         Are curious about future leadership roles in Rotary and where you might fit

·         Bring new ideas, energy, and a service-oriented mindset to change your world and yourself

You don’t need a formal title—just the desire to grow, learn, and make a bigger impact.

Whether you’re preparing for future leadership or supporting your club as a secretary, Midwest PETS is an investment in you and in the future of Rotary. Mark your calendar for March 6–8 and take advantage of this exceptional opportunity to learn, connect, and lead.
