Rotarians, we are already moving into our seventh month in the Rotary year. Here is the latest update for our District’s membership.

At the beginning of January, it looked like we were going to have our first district loss but with new members joining, we gained eight new members, bringing us to 2,200.

Membership Olympics has officially concluded for the 2025-26 Rotary year, so let’s use everything that we’ve learned to keep the momentum going and get our numbers back up.

Any Club that participated in Membership Olympics MUST report all of your final information to me no later than January 31st. Please send reports to my email at: maugs13@gmail.com I will be submitting payment requests to our treasurer at that time, and no further submissions will be eligible for payment.

Here is some interesting news from the Membership Division of Rotary International:

Your future members are ready to get involved

Each January, we see a noticeable surge in interest in joining Rotary. Many prospective members are eager to connect with a local club, seeking opportunities for friendship, community service, and personal growth. If your club is interested in connecting with these prospective members, start by confirming that your club’s information is up to date in My Rotary (file:///C:/Users/aug88/Downloads/how-to-update-club-details-en.pdf) and on your club’s website and social media accounts.

It’s important to make sure prospective members are aware of what Rotary has to offer and the ways they can get involved with your club. Use the new Taking Action With Rotary (https://msgfocus.rotary.org/c/1RW6aoO8skm5mxZfvmJl91M1HqtWy) presentation to provide an overview of Rotary to these prospective members. The presentation is structured as a continuous narrative, explaining what Rotary is and what we do. explaining what Rotary is and what we do.
