Here are her words:

Hello all!
This year has flown by, and I have just started my last term of regular classes. I have enjoyed my courses so far and looking forward to expanding my knowledge on nutrition related emergencies across the globe in my final course. In addition to classes, I have also begun planning for my thesis. I have secured a project to work with ENN (the Emergency Nutrition Network here in the UK) and will be researching antenatal and postnatal care services among mothers in low- and middle-income countries. The ultimate goal is to inform care providers of a comprehensive package of services that is ideal for adolescent mothers. This is a VERY important topic as adolescents are at a higher risk of maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity, therefore they need services tailored to their needs.

I am also looking forward to the Annual Global Grant Scholar Dinner at the end of March to reconnect with some of my new Rotary peers!

Thanks for your support and I look forward to sharing at the District Conference in April!
