On Feb. 19, 2024, D6250 Admin Megs had a meet and greet with Jenny Tasker, President of the Rotary Club of Waunakee, and Rotarian Janette Jordee. It was refreshing to engage with a young and enthusiastic leader. Jenny was motivated by her PETS training and found attending Tricon to be a valuable experience in deepening her understanding and appreciation of Rotary. District Team Training Seminar (DTTS) held at First Supply, Madison on February 17th was well-organized by DGE Todd, providing support for the district. After the productive District Team Training Seminar (DTTS) on February 17th, the team gathered for a fellowship dinner and extended their discussions post the board meeting. It was a great opportunity for everyone to connect on a personal level outside of Rotary, while still keeping Rotary at the center of it all.

Governor Michelle and Administrator Megs attended the Rotary Club of Madison last Feb. 21. Administrator Megs took the stage to introduce Tricon and urge everyone to share their impactful stories for the dispatch. Neil expressed gratitude towards Rotary as a second-generation Rotarian. Initially, he believed Rotary meetings were just about having coffee, but he soon realized they were much more. Attending these meetings also gave him time to bond with his father. Engaging in various tasks within Rotary convinced him to remain a part of the organization, confirming his commitment to stay.

Governor Michelle and Administrator Megs made an appearance at the Rotary Club of Waunakee today. The club exuded energy and positive vibes. Megs, who is also from her home club Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo, D3850 Philippines, collaborated with this group on a district grant to refurbish an old building to become a Rotary Community Corp (RCC) Livelihood and Training Center, which will house the trained single mom/non-working mothers in dressmaking. It was a wonderful opportunity for her to meet individuals who have visited the Philippines. In Rotary, everyone is considered part of the family.
