Seven local Interact Clubs, alongside their dedicated Rotarian advisors, are gearing up for the 9th Annual iFeed event on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 8 AM to Noon at Logan High School in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

What is iFeed? iFeed is a one-day event that brings together community members, students, and volunteers from all walks of life to alleviate hunger in the world and in our own communities. Did you know that 1 in 11 people worldwide (that’s 10% of the global population) are facing hunger? Or that 45% of child deaths worldwide are due to undernutrition? These startling statistics fuel the mission of iFeed, where participants come together to help feed those in need.

How iFeed Works:

Part 1: Meal Packing

Thirty teams of 12 people each work together to pack 100,000 highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice meals in a fast-paced, assembly-line fashion. These meals will be shipped to schools in South America and Africa, where they will provide critical nutrition for children, allowing them to focus on their education.

Part 2: Food Drive

In the weeks leading up to the event, we encourage local businesses, schools, and organizations to collect non-perishable food items. On April 5th, all donations will be brought to Logan High School where they will be sorted, counted, and sent to the Hunger Task Force to be distributed across local food banks in the Coulee Region.

Since its inception, iFeed has collected more than 264,000 non-perishable items and packed an impressive 473,500 meals for those in need. You can see the impact for yourself by watching the Rotary International award-winning 3-minute iFeed video.

Whether you live nearby or would like a road-trip to La Crosse, we’d love to have you and 11 of your friends form a meal-packing team and join us for iFeed. Or maybe you’d like to come see how things are done and start an event like this in your community! Whatever the case, we’d love to have you join us! Mark your calendars for April 5th — we look forward to packing meals and fighting hunger side by side. Let’s feed the world, one meal at a time!
