Happy New Year!

I hope you all have had a happy and healthy holiday season and are off and running in 2023. While many Rotarians are those proactive go-getters that build strong habits any time during the year, many of us rely on the new year as a new opportunity to create change in ourselves. The diet, the workout routine, being more mindful or trying some other kind of new challenge and why not try at the beginning of the year. If there's a change you'd like to make in your Rotary Club, your community, the world, or yourself, we have so many great opportunities on the horizon to help you get ideas, plan and create that change!

Please join me at our Vibrant Club Workshop on January 21st. Registration is open at our District Website and at the link below. Our District Governor Nominee, Todd Restel and District Trainer Mary Beth Hensel have a great event put together gives us an opportunity to participate in focused discussions around Membership, Public Image, and The Rotary Foundation and how the three work together in Rotary. We'll be able to share how “Imagination to Action” is important for theme  all of us as Members of Rotary. Our goal is to have you take back actionable ideas back to help create or keep vibrant clubs!

Another opportunity this month is a Webinar Series hosted by our neighbors to the Northeast in District 6220 that's focused on Growing Rotary Through Service. Rotary Innovative Club Advocate and speaker, Alex Johnson, from the Rotary Club of Plano West in Texas, will present a a fun-filled and information-packed series of webinars taking place on January 12th, 19th and 26th all at 7:00 pm. These webinars will give you and your club the tools needed to involve non-Rotarians in your service projects, provide "comfort and care" to current and new volunteers so they remain or become Rotarians, and promote the great work your Club is doing in the community to convince even more to join in and help!
