Ensuring that your club's authentic story is visible through your online presence is crucial, as this is where both community members and newcomers seek information about Rotary in your area. To support this, the District 6250 Public Image committee is evaluating each club's online representation by examining how effectively you convey your club's vision through your website and various social media platforms.

As we review each club's website, we will focus on how well it reflects your club’s unique identity by checking for the following details:
  • Is your “Contact Us” section easy to find and regularly monitored?
  • Do visitors know who to reach out to for inquiries?
  • Is all content up-to-date?
  • Do you provide a list with links to your club officers and committee chairs?
  • Do the images depict your club’s story and showcase your community involvement?
  • Can visitors quickly locate information about meeting times?
  • Does your site highlight your community engagement?
  • Are there active links to your social media accounts?
  • If you were new to the area, would you find valuable information about your club on your website?
We will also evaluate your club’s activity across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Are you posting at least 1-2 times a week?
  • Do your posts reflect your club’s vision, service projects, and members?
  • Are you using your club’s hashtag, the district hashtag (#Rotary6250), and relevant topic hashtags?
  • Do you mention your club in the captions of your posts?
  • Do your images capture action that tells your story?
  • Are you tagging Rotarians, community members, and businesses using links and the @ symbol?
  • Are Rotarians in your club sharing posts or discussing your club’s events and activities?
As our committee evaluates each club’s online presence, we encourage you to take a moment to do the same. If you were a newcomer, would you feel inspired to join your club? What insights could you gather about your club from its online image? Is your club's online presence authentically portraying who you are?

Once we complete our assessment of your club, we will reach out to share our findings, statistics, and provide suggestions or support. This thorough but vital process will continue through the end of the upcoming quarter, serving as a valuable tool to enhance and strengthen the clubs within our district.
