Thank you so much to all of the clubs that have participated in our DDF Double Match! Thanks to your efforts, we've spent about $70,000 so far this Rotary year on Global Grants, with another $149,000 allocated in global grants that are on track to meet the March 1 submission deadline. What's more, most of those grants have a club in D6250 taking on the responsibility of International Sponsor.

The good news is that we are a hair's breadth away from reaching our goal of spending $232,000 on global grants this Rotary year. That was the amount we needed to spend in order to avoid any "expiring" DDF.

There's more great news! Read on!

Rotarians in D6250 donated to the Annual Fund-SHARE with the promise of that money generating DDF that our clubs would be able to use to support their grant projects, and our district leaders wanted to give you the opportunity and motivation to use that money according to that original promise.

The other good news is that we still have over $100,000 in available DDF, so even though we're on track to meet our goal, it's OK if we go over, too! So please, continue to reach out to your Rotarian friends around the world and let's support their projects together. Even if your club wants to send $200 to a project, you'll get another $400 of DDF and $320 from the World Fund. That's a total contribution of $920 to a global grant of your choosing. But remember, the deadline is that the grant application must be submitted for approval to TRF by March 1, 2026.

To participate and get the match, just email me (erinmluken@gmail.com) and let me know the details of the grant and your intended donation amount. Thank you, again, to our district leadership team for supporting this effort, and to all of our clubs and members that are participating!
