Exchange between 6250 and New Zealand District 9920
 

 

 

 

If you have not been on an RFE, you have not truly experienced real travel. You will make new friends and see more than any tourist ever will.  Priority given to first time RFE participants, this trip is sure to be full so get your name in and an application asap. Our Rotary District 6250 Friendship Exchange Committee has arranged an exchange with Rotary District 9920 New Zealand. This district is on the North Island starting in Auckland, and traveling to 5 Rotary clubs. We will send a group of Rotarians and guests to their district from November 6 to 22, 2024. We will host an inbound group from their district from June 29- July 5, 2025. It is expected you will host them when they visit as well as plan their trip and help driving.

We limit the size of this groups l to 14, so express interest right away to be sure you are included. You will be sent an application form so we can fairly determine who will be the members of the out going team. It is a requirement that you host and help plan the incoming exchange. You can expect to pay your airfare, meals outside the home and some entertainment. The hosts on each end of the exchange support the visitors with transportation, room, board and some entertainment. If you are approved for the exchange there is a $500 non refundable deposit if you back out. The money will be used to support their return trip for activities here and any balance would be refunded after they return home.
