Editor’s Note: This “DID YOU KNOW?” article is designed to help you discover and learn about the rich Rotary International life that happens outside of our individual clubs’ walls. This month’s article is on The Rotary Foundation.
When you log into Rotary International’s website using your “MyRotary” account, you will have access to 14 e-Learning courses on The Rotary Foundation (“TRF”).
Beyond the expected courses which cover the Foundation Committee at both the Club and District levels, the e-Learning catalogs on this topic include:
- “Grant Management” seminars (which are required if your club wants to obtain a district grant)
- “All about Rotary Peace Fellowships”
- “Fundraising Basics”
- “Foundation Basics”
- “Donor Stewardship”
- “The Importance of Eradicating Polio”
- “The Power of Giving”
- “Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus”
The mission of TRF is to help Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty. I hope that you will log into your “MyRotary” account and learn something new this month.
