Sharon Bradish, president of Changemakers, the first and only virtual club in District 6250, is inviting you to jump in any time and attend a virtual meeting. She has amazing guests and it’s a perfect make-up if you can’t attend your regular club’s meeting. Or better yet, become a member! This is the perfect club for those who can’t get away to attend regularly-scheduled on-location meetings!

At the past December’s meeting, Sharon visited The Little French Bakery, located between Baraboo and North Freedom, WI, and interviewed the owner, Susan Holding. Chef Susan shared what led her to this point in her culinary career, the classes she offers at the bakery, the trips to Paris she leads, her experience as a student at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and why this bakery is not a retail store.

Susan then demonstrated how to make pâte brisée (sweet pastry dough) for a fruit tart. This was Sharon’s first video interview and she wants you to know it’s not perfect.  In fact, you will notice a few technical difficulties they managed through, but the tart turned out perfectly! Recording an interview on site might be another way for clubs to welcome speakers to join them.  It worked for the Changemakers! Sharon invites all of you to join their virtual meetings held the first Friday of the month. Coffee with the Club runs from 7:30 – 8:00am, with the Regular meeting running from 8:00am – 9:00am.
