While we are halfway through the 2026 calendar year, we are turning the page to begin a new Rotary year. In Rotary terms, that means it's time to say, Happy New Year!
I cannot fully express how humbled and honored I am to serve as your District Governor for the 2026–2027 Rotary year. Together, we will continue changing our communities, our world, and ourselves as People of Action.
Not only is it an honor to serve you, but I also feel well prepared for this role because I have witnessed firsthand the exemplary leadership of our previous District Governors. Their dedication, transparency, and commitment have provided an outstanding model for success. We are truly fortunate to have such a deep bench of talented leaders who have helped distinguish District 6250 as one of the strongest in Rotary.
What a journey it has been. This final reflection brings me to the final four stops of my 51-club tour across District 6250. It has been an absolute honor to witness the incredible impact, dedication, and "Service Above Self" attitude alive in every corner of our district. Here is how we crossed the finish line!

Accomplishing stuff is worth celebrating! That’s why having a Club Annual report is so worthwhile. Since the new Rotary year has just begun, now is the time to begin preparing for that report so it’s easy to assemble and prepare it for release at the end of the next Rotary year.
The goal is to capture the activities and accomplishments that make your Club special. It will serve to both remind fellow members of all they have done to support the local community and RI, as well as to demonstrate to prospective members exactly what Rotarians do. And the word do is key!
Welcome to the new Rotary year! I hope this year is an exciting one for you and your club.
My name is Aaron Frank, and I am a member of the Madison South Rotary Club and the district's new Membership Chair for this year. I'd like to thank Marc Augsburger for his three years of service as our Membership Chair.

Featured speaker at a recent Rotary Club of Madison West Middleton meeting was Rotarian and accomplished poet Dr. Janet Stutz. My own weak effort above is a response to her end of talk challenge. Give poetry a go!
For more than a decade, the La Crescent Rotary Club's Apple Blossom Bike Tour has been bringing people together to enjoy the beauty of southeastern Minnesota while making a difference. What began as a local community ride has grown into a regional tradition that supports Rotary's mission, local projects, and meaningful scholarships.

John Steele Director of Wisconsin Rapids Rotary Foundation, Rotarian Chuck Gibbons of the Charles & Gayle Gibbons Family Charity Fund and Wisconsin Rapids Rotary Club President Claire Parrish-Lane would like to thank the following clubs for taking part in the End Polio Now contributions and helping to raise $31,000, which once matched by the Gates Foundation, will be $93,000 towards ending polio throughout the world.
