As you may be aware, our district has received a delivery of masks from Gary Huang, Past RI President.  He, with the support of the Rotary Club of Taipei Fuling, have arranged to have 20, 000 handmade, washable protective face masks delivered to 6,800 RYE students in 135 countries.  I received our package of masks late last week and will contact the YEOs for the 7 remaining inbound students who have not already made their trip home to see how best to facilitate their delivery.  Gary asks that at least two masks be delivered to each of our remaining IB students and any remaining masks be donated to a local hospital or other group in need of medical supplies.

I am attaching a copy of Gary's latter and a picture of the masks in case you wish to share this with our district via your newsletter.  It is a very generous gift during this difficult time.

Even if I give each of our remaining students 3 masks, I will have about 20 extra.  Is there a particular clinic where I should deliver the remaining few or shall I keep them in case they are needed in the future by our students?  If any local clinic is acceptable, I can do some research of needs in the Madison areas.
