ROTARY TERMS
Inbound Student | The student living in our district, who is from another country | |
Outbound Student | The student preparing to go out on exchange. | |
Rebound Student | An outbound student who has completed an exchange year and returned home. | |
Yo-Yo Student | A student who has gone on exchange and is going on another one. | |
Sponsor Club | The Rotary Club that sponsored you as an outbound student. | |
Host Club | The Rotary Club that is hosting you during your exchange. | |
YEO | Youth Exchange Officer - a Rotarian who is responsible for helping with paperwork, host families, and student issues. | |
YEC | Youth Exchange Counselor - a Rotarian who is responsible for counseling the student with any problem s or questions. | |
District Inbound Coordinator | Person designated by the district to coordinate the inbound students. | |
District Outbound Coordinator | Person designated by the district to coordinate the preparation of outbound students. | |
District Chair | Person designated to Chair the Youth Exchange Committee of the district. | |
CSRYE | Central States Rotary Youth Exchange. Organization that has 18 districts that have joined together to offer the opportunity of youth exchange to their students. | |
Host Family | Family that has volunteered to host an exchange student in their home. | |
District | International Rotary Countries are Divided into Districts. You are part of District 6250. |
