Welcome to RotaryFest & District Conference 2020!
 
RotaryFest is a family friendly weekend designed for Rotarians, non-Rotarians, Fort Atkinson residents and visitors.  It combines elements of the traditional Rotary District conference with many new and exciting activities!  RotaryFest provides a smorgasbord of things to do with something to keep everyone busy all weekend long.  From golf, to a musical, from biking and running to food packing and from skydiving to traditional Rotary sessions that will inspire and motivate!

RotaryFest Fireside Dinner Theatre - What Happens in Vegas

RotaryFest’s special Friday night showing of What Happens in Vegas for Rotarians, their friends and their families … all are welcome! Registration price includes dinner and the show.

For over 70 years Las Vegas has been the entertainment capital of the world. Just about every great entertainer has appeared in Las Vegas over the last seven decades. The world’s best singers, dancers, musicians, and comedians have flocked to this city where dreams become reality. Now the Fireside will pay tribute to many of those legendary performers in an all new live band show featuring Steve Watts and the celebrated Fireside Band.

Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Judy Garland, Barry Manilow, Elvis Presley, Celine Dion, Elton John, Garth Brooks, Bette Midler, Cher, Olivia Newton John, Lionel Ritchie, Diana Ross, Tony Bennett, Reba McIntyre, Brooks and Dunn, and Lady Gaga are just a few of the great stars who have dazzled audiences in Las Vegas showrooms. The Fireside will feature the work of some of these great artists and many others in the most spectacular band show yet. What happens in Vegas won’t stay in Vegas. It will be here for all to see on the stage of The Fireside Theatre.

The RotaryFest 5K Run is being organized by Rotarian running enthusiasts … a short loop from Fort Atkinson High School to Dorothy Carnes Park and back to the High School over tree lined Banker and Hoard Roads and then Cross Country through beautiful Dorothy Carnes County Park. None of this will be run through the City of Fort Atkinson.

Pricing:  $20 includes T-shirt w/ optional $ 13.00 lunch provided by the Stoughton Rotary Club.

The RotaryFest Kids Against Hunger food packing event will take place in the Fort Atkinson High School auditorium and aims to be the largest food packing event taking place in the State of Wisconsin in 2020.  Bring just yourself or bring a 10 person team and help make this dream become a reality!

RotaryFest welcomes Rotarian “traditionalists” at the historic and recently renovated Fort Atkinson Club on the beautiful Rock River near the Farmer’s Market and the downtown area.  The Club will open at 10 am with coffee and cakes served in the Solarium and on the main floor.  This will be a time for casual conversation and meeting up with old Rotary friends after having already visited the nearby Farmer’s Market and/or Hoard Historical Museum. 

At noon the Rotary District 6250 Annual Meeting will take place upstairs in the theatre after which lunch will be served by the Steel Away Café on the River Level and Patio.  A cash bar will be open at the time as well.  From 1 to 4 pm various Rotary seminars and discussion groups will be meeting throughout the building.

RotaryFest welcomes you to the Fort Atkinson High School’s 600 seat state of the art Auditorium (just a 5 minute walk from the Fort 88 Smokehouse) for several stories that you won’t want to miss!  None will be the same, all will be unique, and all will inspire you to make your next Rotary year your best Rotary year ever!   Our aim is to get your heart pumping and your blood racing with a multi-media, audio visual, extravaganza!

Among other special guests you will hear from RI President’s Representative and Past District Governor Ronnie Gabalda from District 3850 in the Philippines and Ms Isa Paudel … Rotary District 3292 Exchange Student from Nepal.  Born and raised in Arghakhanchi, Nepal, Ms. Paudel attended and graduated from Golden Gate High School in Kathmandu.  In August 2019 she started school in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin as a Rotary Youth Exchange student. 

Many Rotarians have heard Isa’s unique Rotary story and have gone home thinking “what’s next”?  Isa, Ronnie and others will collaborate to answer that question and to share with you their perspectives on issues both large and small, across generations and across continents.  Rotary Connects the World!
