DISTRICT GRANTS

Rotary members contribute their skills, expertise, and resources to help solve some of the world’s toughest problems. From providing clean water to promoting peace worldwide, Rotary Foundation grants bring service project ideas to life. District grants fund small-scale, short-term activities that address needs in your community and communities abroad.

District Grants for the 2026-27 Rotary Year (July 1, 2026-June 20, 2027)

Are you interested in applying for a grant? You must be a member of a Rotary club to be eligible. There are a few steps clubs must complete to qualify, including attending a District Grant Management Seminar (DGMS).

District Grant Management Seminar Dates
  • Wednesday, February 25 | 5:00–6:30 pm
  • Monday, March 9 | 5:00–6:30 pm
  • Saturday, March 28 | 9:00–10:30 am
  • Tuesday, April 7 | 5:00–6:30 pm
All DGMS sessions will be held via Zoom.

Each club must have at least two representatives complete one of the training options to ensure continuity should one qualified member become unavailable. A Zoom link is emailed with registration confirmation.
Completion of DGMS is required for District Grant eligibility. If you missed a DGMS, the training video and Quiz are below. Completing that will certify you as a qualified member.

New process – important change!
The District will be using the ClubRunner District Grant Module for the 2026–27 Rotary year, and all District Grant applications must be submitted through this module. This ClubRunner process and grant requirements will be covered in detail during DGMS. Only individuals who attend a DGMS will receive access to the District Grants module.

Please keep in mind:
  • District Grant applications must be submitted by May 25 prior to the start of the Rotary fiscal year for which funding is being requested. Applications received by this deadline will be considered in the first round of grant funding.
  • Incomplete applications will not be accepted. To ensure full consideration, clubs are encouraged to submit their applications well in advance of the deadline.
  • Applications submitted after May 25 will be reviewed monthly by the District Grants Subcommittee, until our DDF funding for the year has been depleted.
  • All application requirements and guidelines must be strictly followed. These can be found on the District Grant Final Report Form.
  • The District Grants Team is available to review applications and offer feedback in advance of the deadline. Please allow sufficient time for this support—last-minute requests may not be accommodated.
  • If total requested funding exceeds the amount available, the District Grants Subcommittee will be tasked with determining final allocations. Awards may be less than the requested amount, and, when all other factors are equal, priority may be given based on the order in which complete applications are received.
  • All funded projects must be completed and final reports, including receipts, submitted by May 15 of the Rotary year in which the grant was awarded.
